In Atlanta, we make trouble,
good trouble.

The kind of trouble that sets an example and leads to change. Civil rights. LGBTQUIA+ Rights. Black Academic Excellence. Red to blue.

We use our power to take charge when we know something is important. As leaders in politics, culture and entertainment, we like to get caught trying to make a change.

Atlanta demonstrates the commitment we need to make as a nation in 2024. Bring the  Democratic National Convention here, so we can bring the election home.

Mayor Andre Dickens

Welcome from
Mayor Dickens

It is my honor to invite the Democratic National Convention to Atlanta in 2024 to experience the Beloved Community we are building in the capital of the South.  Home to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Congressman John Lewis, we have long been known as the cradle of the Civil Rights Movement, and the city too busy to hate.  Today, we are that and so much more.  We look forward to hosting you during the site survey and we hope that you will Choose Atlanta.

Andre Dickens
61st Mayor of Atlanta
